ICONIC Board's credentialing architecture is not a single ladder — it is a multi-dimensional framework spanning sequential tiers, parallel designations, specialty endorsements, and recognized modality pathways. Every practitioner finds their place.
Each dimension addresses a distinct aspect of professional identity. Practitioners progress through sequential tiers while adding parallel designations, endorsements, and pathway-specific recognition.
Credentials advance sequentially, each building on demonstrated competencies from the prior tier. Progress is competency-based — not calendar-based.
Parallel designations are earned independently and stack on top of any sequential tier at IBC-HHP™ or above. A practitioner can simultaneously hold a sequential credential, a specialty designation, and multiple endorsements.
Honorary designations are not applied for — they are conferred by ICONIC Board upon practitioners whose contributions to the field warrant formal institutional recognition.
Endorsements signal focused competency within a specific modality or subspecialty. They appear alongside credentials in the practitioner directory and on official documentation.
Endorsements are available from IBC-HHP™ (Tier II) onward. Each endorsement has specific educational and practice hour requirements aligned to the modality's professional standards.
