What Is the ICONIC Board Practitioner Directory?
The ICONIC Board practitioner directory is a publicly searchable database of all currently active ICONIC Board credentialed practitioners. It's the primary way clients looking for a credentialed holistic health practitioner find you — and it comes included with every active credential.
What the Directory Contains
Every active ICONIC Board credential holder has a directory listing that includes:
- Name and professional title
- Credential tier and designation (IBC-HHA™, IBC-HHP™, IBC-HHE™, or IBC-HHD™)
- Location (city/state)
- Primary specializations and modalities
- Website link (optional)
- A live credential verification link confirming current standing
Practitioners can update most of their listing details at any time through their practitioner dashboard. Core credential information — name, tier, issue date, and standing — is maintained by ICONIC Board and cannot be self-edited.
How Clients Use the Directory
The directory is publicly accessible — no login or account required. Clients can search by location, specialization, and credential tier. For clients who are specifically looking for a credentialed practitioner (rather than just any practitioner), the directory is the starting point.
When a client finds a practitioner they're interested in, they can click through to the verification link to confirm the credential is active. This live verification capability — not a static PDF, but a real-time check against ICONIC Board's records — is what makes the directory meaningful rather than just a listing of names.
What Deactivates a Directory Listing
Directory listings are active as long as the practitioner's credential is active. If a credential lapses (due to non-renewal), the listing is temporarily deactivated and the verification link shows the credential as expired. Listings are also deactivated in cases of sustained ethics findings against a practitioner.
This means that when a client finds a practitioner through the directory, they can be confident the listing represents a currently active, good-standing credential — not an outdated or lapsed one.
Accessing the Directory
The practitioner directory is publicly accessible at /directory. If you're a credentialed practitioner and want to update your listing, log in to your practitioner dashboard.
