Credential Status Definitions

Your credential will always display one of these four statuses:

Active
Active
Your credential is current and in good standing. This is what appears on your public verification record.
Renewal Due
Renewal Due
Your annual renewal window is open. Your credential remains active while renewal is in progress — submit before the deadline to avoid a gap.
Expired
Expired
Renewal deadline has passed. Your public record shows "expired" status. Reactivation is available through a late renewal process.
Under Review
Under Review
Applies during initial application or when a renewal submission is being processed. Your prior status remains active during review.

Renewal Timeline Tracking

Your portal dashboard shows a renewal progress bar that displays:

You'll also receive email notifications at 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before your renewal deadline. These can be customized in your portal notification settings.

What to Do If Your Status Is Unexpected

If your status shows something other than what you expect — for example, "expired" when you believe you renewed — check the renewal submissions section of your portal for confirmation. If a submission is pending review, that will be visible. If you believe there's an error, submit a support request directly from the portal with your renewal confirmation details attached.

Your status is public. Anyone who scans your QR code or visits your verification URL sees your current credential status. "Active" is the only status that shows as verified. This is why staying on top of renewal timing matters — even a brief lapse changes what clients and partners see when they verify you.
