What the Verification Log Shows
In your iconic.pro portal, the Verification Activity section records every verification event associated with your credential. For each event, you can see:
- Date and time of the verification
- Method — QR scan (from your physical or digital badge), direct URL visit (from a link you've shared), or embedded widget (if you've placed a verification badge on your website)
- Geographic region — a general geographic indication (country or region), not precise location
- Institutional partner tag — if the verification came from a registered ICONIC Board institutional partner (e.g., a clinic or platform that uses ICONIC Board's integration), the partner's name is shown
What the Log Doesn't Show
The log does not identify individual verifiers. A prospective client who scans your QR badge remains anonymous — you'll see the event (time, method, region) but not who it was. This is intentional: it protects verifier privacy, which in turn encourages more active use of the verification system by clients who might otherwise hesitate if they knew their identity would be shared.
How to Use Verification Data Strategically
While you can't identify individuals, the aggregate data is genuinely useful:
- A spike in verifications after you send a clinic application suggests the clinic is actively vetting you — a positive signal worth following up on
- Consistent verification activity from a specific region may indicate a market where your credentialing is resonating — worth exploring for targeted outreach
- Comparing verification volume before and after adding your QR badge to your website or email signature helps you measure the badge's impact
