• Is this really free? No credit card? No catch? +
  Yes — Year 1 is completely free. No credit card is collected at application. You receive the full ICONIC Board credential package. Starting Year 2, the standard $149/year renewal applies. You'll receive a reminder 60 days before your anniversary and can choose to renew at that time — nothing is auto-charged.
• What if my board isn't listed above? +
  Submit your application and include documentation of your credential from the unlisted board. Our credentialing team reviews non-standard credentials on a case-by-case basis within 72 hours. We're actively expanding the recognized board list and have approved credentials from over 30 boards in our case-by-case review track.
• How long does the review actually take? +
  Standard review is 48–72 hours after you submit your documentation. Credentials from our primary qualifying boards (NBHWC, ICF, NASM, ACE, and others in our standard list) typically receive a determination within 24 hours. You'll receive an email notification immediately upon a decision.
• What's the difference between this and regular ICONIC credentialing? +
  The standard ICONIC credentialing pathway requires a full application including documentation of practice hours, scope of practice review, and the annual credential fee ($99–$399 depending on tier). The Board Recognition Pathway is a streamlined equivalency process — your existing credential from a qualifying board is treated as meeting ICONIC Board's professional standards. Year 1 is free, and you receive the same ICONIC credential, badge, and directory listing as standard applicants.
• What happens to my ICONIC credential if my original credential lapses? +
  Your ICONIC Board recognition through this pathway is tied to your source credential remaining in good standing. If your original credential lapses or is revoked, you would need to transition to the standard ICONIC credentialing pathway and meet its independent requirements to maintain ICONIC Board recognition.
• Which ICONIC tier will I be assigned? +
  Your tier is determined by the equivalency table above — based on your source credential and issuing board. For example, an NBHWC-HWC maps to IBC-HHP™ (Practitioner), while an ICF-MCC maps to IBC-HHE™ (Educator). If you have 5+ years in practice, you may be eligible for a one-tier advancement upon additional review. Your application will indicate the assigned tier before you confirm.
