How do I get listed in the practitioner directory?

ICONIC Board — Standards & Credentialing Division Updated April 2026
Back to all FAQ topics

Every credentialed ICONIC Board practitioner receives an automatic listing in the public practitioner directory — no extra steps required. Your profile goes live within 24 hours of credential issuance and remains active as long as your credential is current.

Directory listing is automatic for all credentialed practitioners. Once your application is approved and your credential is issued, your profile is added to the public practitioner directory within 24 hours. No separate application or additional fee is required.

There is nothing you need to do to get listed — credentialing and directory listing happen together as a single process.

Not credentialed yet? You must complete the credential application first. Start your application here →

Your public directory profile includes:

  • Your full name and credential designation (e.g., IBC-HHP™)
  • Credential tier and current status (active / expired)
  • Location (city/state or country — you control the precision)
  • Listed specializations and modalities
  • A short professional bio (written by you in your dashboard)
  • Website link and contact preferences
  • A live credential verification link that clients can use to confirm your status

Yes. Through your practitioner dashboard, you can edit your bio, specializations, location, website, and contact preferences at any time. Changes go live in the public directory within a few hours.

Core credential data — your name as credentialed, tier, and issue date — is set by ICONIC Board and reflects your official credential record. These fields are not self-editable to maintain the integrity of the verification system.

The public directory listing is a core component of ICONIC Board credentialing. Public verifiability is what distinguishes an ICONIC credential from a self-reported designation.

That said, you have full control over how much personal information appears. You can limit your location to country-only, omit your website, and control which specializations are displayed. Contact support if you have specific privacy concerns.

Yes. If your credential expires without renewal, your directory profile is automatically deactivated and hidden from public search. Your verification link will show your credential as expired.

Your profile is restored immediately upon renewal. You have a 90-day grace period to renew without a late fee — during this period your profile remains visible but is flagged as pending renewal. See the Pricing & Renewal FAQ for full details.
